Big Bass Crash is Pragmatic Play's fishing-themed crash game, released in September 2023. Its payout rate, multiplier range and stake limits are set out in official game rules published in Austria, and this page builds on those rules and a few independent listings, with a link to each, and says clearly what the game does not let a player verify.

The rules on record

The most useful source for Big Bass Crash is not a review site but the official game information published for the Austrian market on EVI, the Austrian government's publication platform. It states the payout, the multiplier range and the stake limits in plain terms, and the other listings below agree with it.

No source we found lists a second RTP setting, so this site uses 95.5% and the 5,000x ceiling.

How a round ends

The multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs, slowly at first and then faster, until the fishing line snaps at a random moment. Anyone who cashed out before that receives the stake times the multiplier at that point; anyone still in loses the stake. A round can also end at 1.00x, in which case nobody wins. If the multiplier ever reaches 5,000x, the round stops there and every open bet is paid automatically, which is why the auto cash-out target ends at 4,999.99x.

Random, but not verifiable by you

The Austrian rules describe the game simply as based on chance, with the crash at a random point in time. Big Bass Crash runs on Pragmatic Play's random number generator. It is not provably fair: there is no server seed, client seed or hash in the game, and neither the official rules nor the launch coverage mention one. A page or app asking you for seeds to "check" a Big Bass Crash round is describing a different kind of game. What you can check is the casino: play where the licence is public, and open the game's rules panel to confirm the payout figure that operator shows.

What 95.5% costs

Over a long run, about 95.5 of every 100 units staked come back and 4.5 stay with the house. That edge is built into every target. Under this RTP a 2x cash-out succeeds about 47.75% of the time and a 10x cash-out about 9.55%. High volatility means sessions swing a lot around that average, in both directions. The Big Bass Crash RTP article explains the maths in more detail.

Not the Big Bass slots

The Big Bass reel slots are made by Reel Kingdom and distributed by Pragmatic Play. Big Bass Crash borrows the fisherman theme but is Pragmatic Play's own crash title: it has no reels, no free spins and no bonus round, and the RTP and volatility of the slots do not carry over to it.

One stake, two ways out

Each round takes one total stake. Cash Out 50% pays half of it at the current multiplier and leaves the other half in play, and there is an automatic 50% option that has to sit below your full auto cash-out target. These choices change how much you collect and when; they do not change where the line snaps.

How this site uses the figures

Everything in the results, records and dataset on this site is generated from a model of the published 95.5% RTP, capped at 5,000x, rather than collected from casinos. The methodology page sets out the model and its limits.
